Booking Times

Whilst tries to be as punctual as possible, booking times are estimates. Many variables can impact job times including traffic, diversions, weather, emergencies and delays on previous jobs. We will keep customers updated on delays and arrival times where possible. We can not be held responsible for any losses incurred to customers due to delays outwith our control.


Customers are responsible to ensure all goods are boxed, packaged or properly protected.

Customers Responsibilities

1. Van Sizes

It is entirely the customer’s responsibility to choose the correct size vehicle. Please get in touch if you require a particular vans dimensions.

2. Parking

Suitable parking arrangements for the service provider will be made by you, the customer, at your own expense.  These include, but are not limited to, suspended bays, parking permits, width restrictions and parking distances from your premises.  You will fully indemnify the service provider if fines or penalties are incurred as a result of your failure to make said arrangements.

3. Washing Machines/Dishwasher/Cookers/Dismantling of Furniture etc

It is the customer’s responsibility to disconnect/un-plumb/dismantle white goods and furniture prior to our arrival.  Although we may be able assist at your specific request, we take no responsibility for this.  This is done as a goodwill gesture only and is not a service we offer. Our drivers may have the basic tools but any specialist tools required for the disassembly/reassembly of furniture should be provided by the customer.

4. Access to the new Property

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that all items are able to be moved into the new property (for example, wardrobe, bed, sofa etc). We are not insured for removing any windows or making new entrances to the property.

Insurance offers Goods in Transit and Public Liability Insurance.

Goods in Transit Insurance covers consignments against damage or loss while they are being transported from one place to another or being stored during a journey. All goods in transit are insured for up to £10,000, claims exceeding this amount are non-refundable. The excess on this policy is £500 which is payable by the customer.

There is no cover for owner packed goods and non packed goods under the insurance policy unless caused by a major accident to the means of conveyance. If the customer chooses a self-loading service (or assists with loading), they are solely liable for any damage to their items. The man and van/removal service will not have any involvement in the loading and unloading of items. Insurances will only cover your items in the event of a road traffic accident.

Customers must report any damages to their goods while our driver is with them so that they can log a complaint and take photographs to establish the breakages. We will not accept responsibility for damages discovered after our driver has left the drop off destination.

Public Liability Insurance protects against claims of property damage or injuries that a third party suffers as a result of business activity. Our excess for Public Liability Insurance is £500 which is payable by the customer.
